Just wondering the pros and cons and philosophy in grounding the Input of FX, and Output of FX when wiring true bypass?
Is there "crosstalk" when not grounded?
I usually ground the input side.  I just was contemplating why you see this configuration in so many different builds.
Thanks!

From my experience high gain pedals almost always need the input grounded. I built a fuzz factory one time that while in oscillation the squealing could still be heard when bypassed, input grounding solved that problem.

When I started building, I grounded the Input side. Now, I don't ground it.

I have not noticed a difference.

Awesome Guys thanks!  I figured it was dependent on the circuit and tailoring to suit your needs!!!

I do it on all recent builds regadless as i'm using 3pdt stomp switches now so all that's involved is adding one jumper to the switch.
