super duper 2 in 1 switching problems!

hi everyone i recently build a zvex super duper 2 in 1..and i had a problem with the switching. when either channel is on and i try to turn the other one on (so they'd both be on) there is a momentary signal dropout for about half a second then comes back on. same for when the switch is turned off
any thoughts?

also with true bypass popping is it a simple case of wiring a pulldown resistor from the input and output capacitors to ground?

Yep. I think the insides of that are designed so it fades out for about half a second when the switch is flipped. Unless and until you can find out what the insides are (i.e. get the schematic for it) there's not much telling what to do to fix it.

True bypass does not pop. However, the circuits connected to it can cause pops when switched by a true bypass switch. The details matter.

One form of popping is caused by a true bypass circuit opening the connections to input and/or output capacitors, and those can be fixed by pulldown resistors, if that's the cause of the popping. There are other causes that may have to be eliminated.

turns out the drop outs were just some dodgy soldering connections.. amazing lol

but yeah still cant get rid of that dam popping ive tried everything.. tie down resistors on the input/output jacks, on the input/output caps, and shorting out LEDs
might have to live with it i guess
