Beavis has been an enormous help to me in my learning and makes is this hobby accessible for anyone. Hey, btw - for that Matumin Valve Caster on the Beavis site using a 12AU7 tube - could I use a 6V6? I have 2 of them around and never ventured into that direction yet.

i did try to email the guys there , both email address didn't work ...

i may wait a few days and make some real obvious threads in a few places about a schemo request .

i tend to get too wordy most times  :icon_redface:

guessing that SOMEboday may have it saved somewhere , but ... i cant even find anything similar ?! i may end up trying a dual amz mosfet boost , but i dont have the parts and i like j201s .

You know how hard it is to keep the damn thing up?

Not very hard :) doh.

Sorry about the downtime, should be back up. Happy Monday!

Down again.  I loved this site.

Hopefully it's just registrar expiration and will come back again soon.

I tried going on the site again just now and it looks like the domain can be bought from godaddy! I hope Dano is okay. It looks like he logged on here just yesterday.

Pretty sure I said this before, but I'd be happy to host the content for Dano on my server.

graylensman

Like many folk here, I've downloaded a mess of stuff from Dano's site. If needed - and permitted - I'd be happy to share.

Or, if it helps to skirt some issues, I would be willing to redraw.

you can use a free web host and make a website ..I used to make them all the time when it was a blank and you had to encode it yourself with css/html etc ..now they are like a video game with easy interface options ..

easy peasy

maybe beavis will allow public domain and lets build a new website

I made one  to show how easy it is

While that's true, what I'm offering is free space on a virtual private server with nearly unlimited bandwidth and almost no down time. All he has to do is point the domain...he'd still have complete control over the content and maintenance. He would even have his own private login and Cpanel.

oh wow, youre the mad beans guy? I bought a pcb from you a long, long time ago and it was too advanced for me at the time..lol

I want to thank you for the great service though. I said i would come back and buy again..and I will soon as I get extra money !! I woudlnt mind trying out a few of those medium/advanced builds now as I might be able to get one working. im still a big noob though so I really need beavis back , I only got to save a few things off there.

I'd hate to see it go. Right now the domain is about to go back to the public domain pool. We're talking something in the neighborhood of 10.00 here. I mean I'll buy it and give it back if needed but the owner or someone in control of the domain an content needs to available/respond. I considered just bidding for it so that if it gets released, I'd have a chance to hold onto it until we could properly restore in some fashion, get it back in the right hands, whatever but again, the owner needs to be available at some point in order to do that.

Edit: Actually looks like the domain is fine for another 9 months so looks like it is just the hosting.
