Small Bear stocks my preference. I find the quality much better all around and I will continue to buy those.

Damn - I just started a topic on Tayda. I should have scrolled down a little.

I love the fact that everything is well labeled - hell I even reuse their labels.

I dislike the split shaft pots they sell but for the most part I am happy with their componets.

Split fluted shaft pots are pretty much standard these days. To make it easy for yourself, just order some suitable knobs at the same time as ordering the pots- you'd  even save on shipping!

Then buy the pots from Steve also (and again save on shipping), and be happy with the fitment- people like Small Bear deserve the support of the DIY community, they put in the hard yards to ensure we have a relatively easy time of it.  The difference in $ isn't that much, compared to the misery of dealing with mismatched parts...

just did my first order from small bear, too. some of the stuff there is unbeatable or impossible to find.

i don't care for either site's search function tho

no complaints. i HAVE to shop around for best deals right now, as i'm in between night gigs (which is my day gig)

Love Tayda, can't say enough about the service or the pricing.  Good parts to boot.
