Muff & Screamer - Help for conversion

hi all

i've buyed from musikding.de two fx pedal kit: der muff triangle 3rd and the screamer.
it works well with a guitar but i have a question:

can i "modify" these 2 fx pedals for a bass guitar?
what component i have to change?

It may "work" on bass.

If you want tone shifted an octave lower, double the value of all capacitors.

yes, they works on bass guitar, but sounds not well.
