Some of you might have seen the Arcade pedal I did, it's an extension on this.

This schematic is unverified as I just drew it from scratch. I threw in the 100k series resistor at the end to tame the output volume a bit.

Basically this is the Tim Escobedo PWM, with an octave down and an LFO to arpeggiate between the regular octave and the octave down.
Sounds like this:

Minus the ticking ( I was missing a coupling cap in that clip ) and minus the excessive reverb.

Any questions, shoot!

Have fun!

Arph - your work is great! I had a couple quick questions for you. What is a coupling capacitor? And how did it fix the ticking? (I head the clip)

http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=96501.0 - That is a tread some of us have been working on, with a ticking issue in a 567 based tremelo. Any help you could give would be awesome. Thanks!

This thing sounds awesome! Can't wait to build one for myself once all my other projects are outta the way.

Coupling caps make sure that there is no DC offset between two points in your circuit and that only audio can pass.  In this case it was one of the two 4n7's that was missing. I'll look at that thread again, later today, see if I have any ideas.

Thanks for the kind reactions!

Time for mods  ;D

For a barebones version you can leave out the input buffer (the 5088) and start with just the 150n after that. I added it because it gave me more sustain. With this pedal you tend to play long single notes and you want to keep them sustaining as long as possible. Driving this with a compressor pedal before it can be a good idea.

One obvious mod is to split the filter so you have a filter knob for both the regular octave and the octave down.

If anyone builds one I'd be honored.  :D

I was already typing you had not seen it yet...

If it does not work it's because I messed up somewhere, but I'm 99% confident it is working.  :icon_rolleyes: (I know dangerous statement)
As I copied most of it from my Arcade schematic  ;)

As you're using a 4024, and there are two unused gates of the 4066..........well it would seem like a wasted opportunity not to use those extra 4024 outputs with those extra 4066 gates........Four Step ;)
