Very good job, Fernando +++ . Those etchings are nonetheless nice, but surely abuse-resistant, and so : durable... A quality which is not so often found in the DIY stompbox world, I think.

A+!
Thank you! Yeah, they're tough!

@stephashka: i really like your designs...a unique style for sure!....especially the chorus. very nice!... :icon_cool:

my cleanest original builds

I pcb-mount as much as I can, now. even if I have to pay double for the PCB fab. will be moving some of my more tried and tested designs to SMD eventually, too. at least the ICs

I was digging on that red Germ before, but honestly, that Fetish Buffer kills!

I dig those white labels on you boxes  8)  How are they made??

Really cool looking pedals!

gena_p1

Labels made by silkscreen process. Before silkscreen, we used laser engraving.

Rectangular slots?  Are those made using an EDM or punched or ...?

We're gonna need some info on that tube head.

Oh yeah. Headphone & effects loop & it's gorgeous. I want one.

I don't see any transformers, either. PWM supply? Output transformerless?

gena_p1

Slots are handmade (drill+small files (broach))
Output transformer Hammond 125A.
Power transformer 220->12V AC. Inside of device 12V AC transforms to 350V DC by step-up transformer(made to order) and standard rectifier.
So, 3 transformers per device. One outside and two (output and step-up) inside. No PWM, only classic oldschool :)

Damn... good job.  I've done that and it's neither fun nor easy to get good results.  I'm lazy, I would have hucked that thing on a mill and kept the round ends.

http://www.shift-line.com/tmp/stanok.jpg (1meg) this is middle part of process.

One thing to say... F-THAT!

Props to you! That's pretty sick! You need a Mill, though... that's what they are made for. Pop for a good Baelin bit, and you could run that whole stack in an hour, including a brownie and a beer in between.  ;D
