Not quite effects related, but food for thought....

Reverb tank in my Ampeg G-212 amp. Very sweet reverb as well.

I guess if your single, and looking for a looker that can slap together a mean reverb, Milton, Wisconsin should answer all your prayers  :icon_mrgreen:.

That reverb tank always makes me smile when I open up my space echo, there is something warmer sounding about reverbs made by beautiful girls.

Boys grab your Hi-Karate were headed to Wisconsin!  ;D

Thats awesome Ill have to check my ampegs reverb tank.

What year is that amp ?

I have a 1973 ampeg I believe it is the G22-15 ill have to look again. The reverb tank in my has that old locking arm to lock down the springs when your moving the amp around. I actually pulled it out of the ampeg and put it in a fender deluxe for the time being when the fenders reverb tank , tanked*. My ampeg is out of commission after i got it back from some harmonica players hahaha. But its on my long list of things to fix and i hope i fix it soon cause that amp is a screamer!

My lanky butt has to second that one...  :P

lol.

I have a Peavey Pacer 100 SS Series amp that has one of these tanks in it. Definitely made me smile the first time I noticed it. I remember seeing a couple when I was younger, but didn't appreciate it enough at the time to make much note of it. I probably thought it was just typical goofy musicians, since I was listening to S.O.D., M.O.D., Scatterbrain... GWAR, lol. Ever since I can remember, musicians have always been the jokers, never taking life too seriously, even stopping in the middle of tragedy to nudge a buddy because you can't let a good giggle go to waste. I look up to those people! lol.

And then there's THEM who attack ye who look at the guitar with your abusive eye, yet have no issues making their girl walk down the dark street to get them smokes. *hisses*

I opened up my old 66 tremolux head in the mid nineties, there was a stick from a lollipop in there by the pilot light. I always thought it was a cute fullerton girl who did it.

I live in Wisconsin, and beautiful girls here are not all that plentiful as they are in other areas. My dad came up with this one after visiting:

Q: What is a a cute girl in Wisconsin?

A: A tourist.
