I looked over some previous threads on how to make audio pots using linear pots, but all I see is the voltage being changed to audio.

I read "secret life of pots" and didn't get much out of it. This thread: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=70732.0 was easier to understand because of the colorful pic with graphs near the bottom. The graph shows the voltage in "B" being logarithmic while "E" shows the resistance being reverse-logarithmic.

I want to make the resistance of the pot become logarithmic, where the resistance stays small for a while then jumps up near the end, or vice versa. I don't want reverse log.

So, is this possible?

As far as I know you can't do that, you can only make reverse log variable resistors.
