The best thing I have found is not a mod to the wah itself, but to the circuit that's having trouble, which was really only my fuzz face.  The Jack Orman pickup simulator works really great http://www.muzique.com/lab/pickups.htm

ya i checked again and they dont show out the resistors and caps to change for the vocal mod treble bass q things like that. and i know the values are different from the newer gcb-95s making it hard to identify what to swap. is there a schem on schematic heaven? or if know where a good schem is for that pedal i can trace them down. and the 3 sites mostly focus on true bypass and on circuit mods for the new revisions. kinda frustrating. i think i might just etch me a new board all together and totally do a custom job and not just a few swaps. like is said before i saw in the article "the technology of wah pedals" they had an audio transformer. but they didnt talk much about how to wire it in or much more than a pic of it. do you know the secrets with that. i picked one up from radio shack for around 3 dollars and i would love to throw that in my wah and see what happens but i got no clue how and either im not taking in the info correctly or they dont talk about it. ive seen a few pics of wahs with them in it but nothing detailed enough that i could figure it out on my own. and again i have googled the stuff but i must punch in the wrong search words because i never find what im looking for. my wife hates me for it as im sure it annoys you. but i work with my hands guitars and guns not google. so any leads on the audio transformer would be greatly appreciated. thanks jimi!

and again i have not found the same arrow style pics for the rev e board but i did see the arrows for were to cut for the true bypass. i guess now im just gonna try and find a schem for the board and go that route. and it would actually force me to learn reading schems better and i think i would appreciate it more. also im picking up a bass crybaby from a friend tonight to mod. he is stoked i built him a compressor the other week and now he wants me to work on everything. just thought i would share the good news. and by the way im ARMY but im not one of those guys that hates other services. im that guy that is glad to see any us flag shooting beside me. why ppl think one service is better than the other is dumb in my opinion. all have there specialty and therefore one cannot be better than the other. and we are all one same team trying to preserve innocence and freedom!

i got no reason why but i am blocked from that site. it says send an email and they will unblock me that my ip address could be spam or something stupid i used to love that site but one day it just wouldnt let me use it. says that i could be a bot. i sent them an email. hopefully they let me in. i feel like the nerdy kid that cant get in the club because the bouncer is a douche but i know that the ppl that run the site arent douches. the just have security systems in place that are as i see it a little sensitive. haha

My favorite output buffer is the leaky germanium buffer design on the AMZ blog.

On the AMZ site, they also sell (or at least they used to, I haven't been there lately) a ready-made buffer board, that has instructions on how to use it to make a wah output buffer (as well as for other applications).

ive been talking with the the guy im not sure his name i think jack. but i cant get my ip address unblocked can you upload some of the stuff you have suggested here if it is allowed to be reposted. also i picked up a friends bass wah. and im curious before i start tearing it apart. do any of the circuit mods apply to the bass wah as they do the standard wah. i know the .0068 cap is the stay for the bass but what about the 68k q mod or the 1.5 k or the 370? volume mod. i could be wrong about figures there but i have the info written out. im probably gonna try them out anyway but maybe i could save myself sometime by asking you. dont seem like a lazy thing when you have a wife and baby that takes up most of your day. time is precious and questions are quicker than soldering and resoldering resistors to figure out something you might already know. hints the sharing info. haha. gotta jump thanks for all. and ill check back later.
