Ibanez FL-301 - LFO theory of operation

I'm looking to design my own Flanger so I've been looking at a few designs. Looking at the FL-301 right now and trying to get a handle on the LFO circuit and how it modulates the BBD clock, MN3101. Anybody have a good handle on the theory of operation of that circuit?
