Hello, I am designing a few tube buffers and distortions pedals and would like to use 10uf Solen caps for coupling.

This is mainly because I will not incur any frequency cutoff. Although, I am worried that such a large cap may dramatically

reduce the output of the circuits, of which i would like to avoid. Any advice?

At 9V, the capacitor type doesn't matter, $7.00 capacitors would be overkill. If you're doing HV stuff, then you'll want big caps, although there's little evidence that audiophile caps make a difference. As long as the cutoff is below the guitar frequency range, you'll be fine, there won't be any reduction in output. For example, before a tube stage with a 470k input impedance, you just need a capacitor that's 10nF or more.
