I've been without a band for about a month now so my free time right now looks like 90% reading stuff on here, 8% building (hope to change that this weekend) and 2% playing (seeing a bunch of friends bands this weekend so maybe I'll put together some of the pieces of my next band there).... what does your free time look like between these three options???

I try to do 2-3 pedals/circuits a month if they are just built from project files, if not, maybe one circuit a month. I play guitar everyday, usually acoustic, and jam with a friend once a week. I spend.. a lot of time on here.

According to my profile, I've spent 32 days, 21 hours and 57 minutes online on this forum... I'm hoping at least 80% of that was while it was open in another window  :icon_lol:

At this moment in life, I work, I come home, clean dishes, cook, and sit up til midnight doing this, or nothing. No vehicle, so band is on hold (other issues there, as well).
Give a man Fuzz, and he'll jam for a day... teach a man how to make a Fuzz and he'll never jam again!

PROFILES SAY HOW LONG YOU'VE BEEN ON HERE????? Oh gawd thats not good. I'm on afternoon shift these day so I'm not gonna start building at 2AM.

80% building (due to the contest), 15% here and other pedal research, and 5% playing. I'll be glad when this contest is over so I can get back to a normal routine at home.  So will my wife!

A guitar is just another piece of test equiment to make sure that a pedal works properly.

My typical day:

Min. of 1 hour playing guitar
30-60 minutes hanging out at this forum, mostly while I am at work
Zero minutes building something

The only time I build something these days is if I think I can legitimately use it. I'm more likely to mod something for someone else these days than to build something from scratch for myself.

That would be a good wrap-up of my situation. If I got paid for every hour that I spent on circuits, I could consider that I work 2 full-time jobs. Nope, I don't make a penny. Just build and learn... rewarding enough for me.
