Hi all,

Over in the other Ebay thread musiclikscreams suggested starting an ebay best buys / best sellers thread.  I thought it was a good idea and i'm running with the idea.

Heres a couple of sellers i have used in the past for a few things:

gordelux04
http://myworld.ebay.com.au/gordelux04/?_trksid=p4340.l2559
1 order
50 x Russian Germanium Transistors
Transistors were good although have read mixed reviews about this seller from others.

dpi4parts
http://myworld.ebay.com.au/dpi4parts/?_trksid=p4340.l2559
1 order
J201's
Have read many good things about this US seller.

A couple to start things rolling :D

Earthscum

abcfab
Copper Clad PCB
Freaking fast, no hassles, and I've seen many other honorable mentions of them across the web. The board doesn't chip bad at all, nice and consistent copper, etches really nice, and hias excellent bond to the board material. It's actually wuite hard to lift a trace from the stuff I bought (it's been awhile... think I got a big pack of SS 4"x6" CEM .060").
Give a man Fuzz, and he'll jam for a day... teach a man how to make a Fuzz and he'll never jam again!

hkwisefield - Bought 3 packs of 300 resistors for 1 dollar each.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&hash=item336b0a57fe&item=220839172094&nma=true&pt=AU_B_I_Electrical_Test_Equipment&rt=nc&si=tFD7fWSq64yi564OnLV1AGWEMd0%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

This is the link to that bulk seller of resistors i mentioned.  Unfortunately, he's not selling anymore, the cheapest i've seen by a mile and decent quality!

Cant vouch for he's other stuff, but he does have a broad range of electronics related items. 50 LED's for about $3.50, rechargable 9v batts etc.

You might want to read this thread:

Honestly, even if they are carbon film, i dont know if its going to make much difference.  Still an interesting thread!  I give one of mine a scratch tonight and see whats underneath.
Edit: ah yeah, not sure why it matters if the values are correct anyway?

Try heating one or two with a lighter and see if they hold their value or drift.
Probably the quickest test.
