Greetings  to one and all !
I am looking for a general consensus and any opinions that relate.
If one were making a polycarbonate replica of a vintage Ibanez pedal enclosure, like the TS-808, and wall thickness forced a decision, that being that the original wall thickness is about 1/16 inch. and one wanted an exceptionally strong enclosure on the order of 3/16 inch thick, what is the more critical dimension and what would YOU do? To clarify further, If One kept the outside dimension true to the original, the inside dimension would be 1/4 inch smaller, (length and width). If the inside dimension is kept true to the original, the outside would be 1/4 inch longer in width and length. Now I know that pedalboard real estate is always an issue and I also know that room inside a pedal is an issue, especially if someone were to want to put vintage Ibanez guts in a clear housing.
Voila the question. what do you all recommend?
Here, a further question. A small sounding to gauge interest. If a quality made, crystal clear enclosure in polycarbonate, in the form of a vintage Ibanez enclosure were available, how many of you would be interested in trying it out in a project ?

I look forward to your input !
