I want to wire a kill switch to my newly built pedal, since it'd be a pain in the ass to have to unplug it everytime I want to cut power. I'm using a switch I took off a little toy. I just wanted to make sure I'm wiring it right; Would this work to cut off power so the battery isn't drained? http://www.use.com/0c37aeb92672ace378e4 Thanks.

I'm sorry sir, we only have the regular ohms.

No, the original drawing would short out the battery.  The switch has to be in series with one of the supply leads (doesn't matter which one, but generally, the one that is not grounded would be switched so there are no sneak paths for current through the signal cables).

just put the switch on either wire

I used your original switch wiring once when I was a kid and wanted to build a DIY 120v lamp for my bedroom. When I plugged it in and flipped the switch on, there was a pop and a lot of the lights in the house went out. Then my dad started yelling :)
