Another way to stack opamps in a TS?

I've been doing some conceptual work for a future Tube Screamer project and just had the following brainfart:

The tone section doesn't seem to be a critical, defining element of a TS-like circuit. Highs are passively cut, then actively raised to taste. If you look at a Zen Drive, it opts for a adjustable passive filter and omits the active filter, wiring the second part of the dual opamp as an input follower. My thought is that you could easily use the second part to achieve the same goal as physically stacking opamps, but easier.

I haven't tested it yet (and won't be able to for a while either), but interested to see/hear if it would work satisfactory.
