I'm building the Neovibe and all I need to do is wire the power jack but I don't know where the 2 wires go. I've got a 24v jack with 3 leads or connector thingies on them, I've also included a link to a picture of the jack. I don't know if that will help but if it does could someone perhaps draw a diagram on there or something as to where they go? or if you're familiar with the NeoVibe maybe as to where they go on there? As of now I'm just wiring them to K & J once I figure out where the two wires go on the jack first. I really don't want to ruin anything so any and all help will be appreciated!! :]

do you have a multimeter?  i know the far left one is ground. but i cant recall which one is positive, and battery positive. but you can check with a meter

I'm sorry sir, we only have the regular ohms.

Yeah I have a multimeter, I measured and only get voltage with the far left one like you said and the top one. So far right is useless in my case right? I just wired the top and far left ones up so haha so I hope it works.

the other one is for battery positive. this means the positive will come from the battery when no power jack is plugged in, but that will switch off and use the power supply when you plug in.

sorry if you knew that already, i am guessing you didn't.

if you should use a battery along with external power you connect the batterys positive to the far right one..... the jack has a built in switch that switches between battery and external power...if it wasnt there it would be like charging a battery that isnt supposed to be charged. it may explode.

edit...kesh beat me to it

So what your both saying is left and top then? far right for battery which in this case there is none just a 24V DC wall wart. And in any case either of you familiar with the neovibe and which one goes where?

Kesh

i don't know neovibe, but it is easy to determine which goes where using a multimeter

Yeah I got it to turn on at least.. now all i get when jacks are plugged in is this loud waahhhhhhh.
