I made a new Dr boogey vero board, seems to have solved most of my issues.
Now I seem to have one fairly large issue. When the effect is engaged, its low volume and signal gets through when volume pot is turned down. I was monkeying around with it, I had a segment of the blade of a utility knife (in my hand) on the 1st lug of the volume pot (neg) and when my fingers contacted the strings of my guitar the effect works great, I mean super great! When I removed my hand it drops in volume and i get that squealing.
If I'm not mistaken, that means theres a bad ground?

lug 1 of the volume pot connects to ground..do you have a wire conecting that lug to ground?

Devius

Sure do. I connected all the grounds from the pots to ground on the veroboard. This is the gaussmarkov layout btw.

So measure the DC resistance from the ground/sleeve of your guitar lead jack (i.e. measure at the guitar end of the cable ...unplugged from the guitar) to lug 1 (ground lug) of your effect's volume pot - it should read very low...but I'm expecting that it won't be.

I'm embarrased to say but its because the ground wasn't connected to the lugs on the jacks. I built the Beavisboard for my interface and I bypassed most of it so the grounds weren't connected. Such a dumbass! Week and a half down the tubes.

Totally appreciate the help though! Thanks guys.
