I'm looking to build Jack Orman's Mosfet Booster, as my next project.  Here is the link: http://www.muzique.com/schem/mosfet.htm

I've built several pedals, including a few of Mr. Orman's other boosters.  I just finished a dual Mini-Booster unit in a 1590DD enclosure, with independent by-pass and controls.

If you wanted to add some signal clippers to ground, in the Mosfet Booster circuit, where would you place them?  On the output.. I read a few comments about some pedals using signal clippers on their Voltage Reference point.. unfamiliar territory for me.  I was thinking of adding a pair of Mosfets, with a 'Saturation Control' Pot.. maybe.

Any comments and advice is very appreciated.

hmm... Im no expert on this, but I would advice you to check out the "no joke fuzz"/"Electra distortion" and the ZVEX "Machine". Look at the diode-placement in the no-joke (its a transistor but basically it is used a diode (1n4148)). Also check out the "limit" potentiometer placement in the "machine". The "no joke fuzz" sounds awesome ;) my favorite dirt simple fuzz project next to the AMZ MOS-Face

Hope this helps!
