Which 3pdt wiring layout is used when there is no ground on the output jack?

I like the look of this, but can never fully figure it out from pictures. Does anyone know of a link to a diagram like this? Thanks!

It's the same as whatever diagram you've seen where there is a ground wire on the output jack, except instead of that wire you use metal input/output jacks fitted to a metal box to make the connection. You'll need the wire if you test the circuit out of the box, though.

I used that until I knew it by heart.

In all pictures you can see a wire that connects the sleeves together (with a notation that it can be made through a metal chassi), that's the one.
The jacks are not grounded to the switch. The switch is grounded to one of the jack sleeves (in order to switch on a LED for example).

You ground the jacks sleeve to sleeve with a wire (no box) or through the enclosure.
If you wire the pedal up without box to see that it works, there is no need to remove the sleeve to sleeve wire unless you want a bit tidier wiring.
