Hello everyone,

I am currently building Sansamp GT2, to avoid offboard wiring I am planing to use analog switch IC, can i use http://in.element14.com/texas-instruments/ts5a3359dcut/ic-sp3t-analog-switch-8-vssop/dp/1755411 prouduct.

It's max operating voltage is 5.5 v.

Take a look at the CD4053 datasheet. It's an analog multiplexer with a higher supply voltage rating. I think that will work for you. Also, there's a great tutorial on the subject at Geofex. (thanks R.G.)

I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

Yes, the CD405(1/2/3) series will drop right into a 9V circuit without any hassle.  Also worth checking out the CD4066 (quad spst package), depending on how many poles/throws you need.

Thank you all for your replies...At last I have decided to go with relays.
