Hello folks.. just wanted to share a recent build.  I'm slowly improving my skills.. striving for a more professional result with each project.

I am a fan of the AMZ Multi-Purpose PC Board.  I've built Boosters and Buffers on it.. but recently I realized that the vulnerable Bazz Fuss circuit can also be constructed with the Multi-Purpose PCB.

I added a 1k "Gain" Pot on the Emitter and a 100k "Volume" Pot on the Output.  I decided on 0.47µf for the Input and 0.022µf for the Output.  With my guitar, these values provide a good balance of frequencies.  I also Grounded a 1nf Orange Drop, right after the Output Cap, to smooth out the high treble.

Here are the PCB appointments for building this circuit on the Multi-Purpose board:

C1 :: 0.47µf [Input Cap (adjust to taste)]
C2 :: 0.022µf [Output Cap (adjust to taste)]
C3 :: omit
C4 :: omit
R1 :: omit
R2 :: 1M [Anti-Pop Resistor (optional)]
R3 :: 1N914 Diode
R4 :: omit
R5 :: jumper
R6 :: B1k [Gain]
R7 :: 1nf [Low Pass Cap (optional)]
R8 :: omit
R9 :: 10k
Q1 :: MPSA13

Hey, thanks for the mention!  I am glad that you have made good use of the pcb.

I like the idea of making a bass fuzz with it. Great looking project!

Best regards, Jack
