Okay so I just finished building a Clyde Mccoy Wah clone based on the Fuzz Central PCB layout. I have a problem though, when I plug the pedal in it only works as a volume pedal! I think I have everything wired correctly althought I may be wrong. I'm new to this and don't really have an idea of what the problem could be. I am using an Allen Bradley wah pot if that has anything to do with it. I am also using a Sabbadius Soul Inductor. Most of the resistors are the same as what is used in the layout (68k is 75k instead). Please help! Thanks!!

Here is the layout I've been using: http://fuzzcentral.ssguitar.com/mccoy/mccoylayout.gif

the most common cause for your symptom is a failure at the cap to ground at inductor.        i think it is  4uf or 4.7uf.

next thing to check is solder bridges or missed connections. read and use the troubleshooting guide here at this forum page.

It works! I soldered the inductor in backwards :-\. Opps! Oh well at least it works. Sounds great too! Thank you!!!  :)

Huh?  ???

How do you solder an inductor backwards?

Am I missing something here  :-\

A lot of inductors have 8 pins, and only 2 of them are actually connected to the inductor, so if you put it in backwards the right pins won't connect with the pcb connections.
