I just built my first BSIAB2 from generalguitargadgets.com. I'm kinda new to the DIY stuff so I might have got something wrong that I couldn't find in my troubleshoot. Anyhow, the input signal is extremely low, and even with all pots put to max it barely distorts at all. Same problem with the output, it's really low, probably because of the low input signal.

Does anyone have a solution for this? As I said I'm pretty new to the DIY stuff, especially with the different components on the PCB. I honestly don't know what components are for the drive on the stompbox so I don't know where to look for problems! I've got some experience in soldering though, so I'm pretty sure the connections are executed correctly! And I've tripple-checked that the components are placed correctly.

Appreciate all the help I can get!

Hi,
follow the instructions in this post: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=29816.0

Doing so will make it easier for others here to help you.

Have you tried using an audio probe?  This might also help you identify the problem.
