I was playing around with some SFT352 germanium transistors last week and came up with this: http://soundcloud.com/astro-sound/newfuzz

It's just three boost stages cascaded into one another, the first being a JFET boost as a transparent "pre-gain" with a volume control, the second and third are a with the germaniums with a bias control on the first. The sound clip demonstrates a few settings. Around the 50 second mark is where the max fuzz setting is. If there is enough interest I'll draw up the schematic.

Description copied from link: "This is an experimental germanium fuzz/overdrive I've been working on. The goal was to make a pedal that has a good range of sounds that isn't the same old Fuzz Face, Tonebender, or Rangemaster thing. There is a fine palette of buzz, fuzz and grit to be had, and it's pretty responsive to how hard you play and how your guitar volume is set. Recorded with single coil pickups, a Silvertone 1484 amp and a haphazardly placed EV 635A."

Hope you like it!

i don't usually like too much buzz but that entire clip is sweet

Sweet. Nice range of fuzz.
In the right place it'd sound great. Good job.
Defo worth posting the schematic.
Ma throats as dry as an overcooked kipper.

Smoke me a Kipper. I'll be back for breakfast.

there is always enough interest for a schematic.

your guitar and amp have the mojo to match this sweet fuzz. you could definitely get these sounds with other fuzz pedals but I still want to see the schematic. something new is always refreshing.
