does my EasyVibe work proper?? (soundfiles) Diodes D1-D4????

Did the easyvibe pedal today but have no idea how it should sound when built right 

can someone verify if i had any success or what it lacks 

here is two sound samples played through a Fender Hot Rod 40W with reverb and straight in on sound card to windows simple sound recording program.

No fancy playing just chords (digital man / rush)

This one is switched Chorus and depth set to 100% and Rate 0%, 15%, 50%, 100%: http://www.poksched.com/switch_on_chorus.wav

edit: i can also mention that i only have 5 strings on guitar high light E string is gone

well it sounds pretty nice, but i am new to univibe pedals (to expensive for me to buy)

i just did a recording (just like the other ones) but with  rate set to 75% and depth to 100%

it's a try on SRV's Riviera Paradise. a tune so people can relate to the sound.

it's hard to hide missed picks behind a clean amp - i love distortion!!

i think the sound is too clean   I have listening to other easyvibes on this forum and some sounds different. one had a distortion + in chain and that sound was real cool (thinhk it was Andre?)

what do the diodes to the sound? (D1-D4) i can't hear anything that comes from any diodes in my pedal.

I haven't built the Easy Vibe, but with the NeoVibe I get a less choppy sound with depth pot at about 75% to smooth out the tremolo like effect at faster rate speeds. I'm curious to hear a sample of it with that setting!!!
    About the diodes: I don't think they are for clipping the signal. The Univibe is a "clean" effect..... I actually like it better without distortion, but can sound pretty good with an overdrive pedal or overdriven amp.

how do you get the sound like, for example, mini dejavibe has??
it sounds distorted and bassy...
or is it just a cranked amp that produce this sound? i cant play loud in my appartment just to test my easyvibe

my pedal is way behind these soundings anyway so... i'm not really satisfied with the easyvibe yet

Search for RDV's sound clip of his Easy Vibe with a BSIAB2 .... one of the best examples of the Easy Vibe with distortion I've heard. Listen and see if that stacks up next to the those boutique clips. I'll post a link here if I can find it.

i begin to think that the sound samples out there is colored with some other effects also.
THEN, if so, my easyvibe starts to look much better 
I just put a tubescreamer, or some similar stomp, in my signal chain and blow away 

maybe i'll come back with some new samples, with TS-808 clone, after i have boxed it.
