My Little gemMark 2 build, made exactly as seen here//http://aronnelson.com/gallery/TheBigMan-Layouts/littlegem seems to work fine until I put it in it's enclosure. I have wired up an ac adapter that is plastic on the outside. The problem only happens when the speaker input is pluged in AND touches the enclosure. If I leave the other connections ( input and ac adapter) in the enclosure all is fine until the speaker out touches the enclosure.
Please help. Can I just swap the + and - speaker wires?

Bump! I can figure this out and thought I would throw it out there again. ..fingers crossed!

Sounds to me like you need to use an isolated output jack. The little gem mkII outputs have to be seperate from ground, if you're using a metal enclosure, the sleeve on the output jack is probably getting grounded through the enclosure. So try using a plastic enclosure, or isolated jacks.

Plastic enclosures are OK for Rubys and LG's. I have both my Rubys in plastic fish food containers and they dont hum, buzz, or any of the like.
