Need help badly , want to wire this up with a 3pdt & led , positive ground.....can i use the ggg negative ground layout for this , is the difference from a positive or negative ground just the way the components are orioentated on the board , or the wiring as well if your looking at a layout !

Thanks !

Chris

The input is the purple wire, the output the brown from the center lug of the volume pot.

Transistors... depends on which ones...

The offboard wiring would be the same EXCEPT the orientation of the battery, and, the orientation of the LED.

Great , The transistors are from Smallbear : Transistor Pair - The Fuzz Face PNP
Two matched PNP devices, tested in the Fuzz Face circuit. Supplied with list of resistor values used. Will also work in Bear Face, "Two-knob" Tone Benders, "69", Fuller Mods, etc.
PRICE: $12.00 , : Ones labeled From Top View : 5N , 1K & R , 148 labeled on the bag , the other blank , labeled at 196 . also ,  which transistor goes where on the board , ( Q1 , Q2 ) .

Thanks Again !

Easywider

can anyone give me some help with the transistors , Infos stated above , Thanks !

GREEN FUZ

I believe in this circuit the higher gain one is commonly Q1, therefore the one labeled 196 is Q1, 148 is Q2.

Meanderthal

I believe that's backwards Green Fuz... But they've been labled for Qi and Q2 by Steve anyway.

Sooo... without the part#s(those numbers weren't it) the best ya can do is assume it's the same pinout as AC128...(most likely)

Whoops..  :icon_redface: Should have re-read this before posting. That said, my fuzzface is the other way round (high gain Q1) and it sounds fine. Apologies easywider for the misinformation.
