I pulled this down from Justin Philpott's site.  Why does he suggest replacing the 0 ohm resistor with a jumper and what about the note in red about the diode?  I'm fine with the DPDT stuff.  Those other notes have me scratchin' my head.

The diode is for polarity protection I assume? So any diode that has the same rating (as in a 9.1V zener diode) can be used. used to be on all stock crybabies. As for the resistor, just saying that the original comes with a zero-ohm resistor, but you can use a jumper instead.

Cheers,
