Wiring in a DC jack

Thanks ! Just looked at the diagram , shows one wire going to the board grounds , don't know where to put that wire on the board , please help !

Hi Easy,

Just run the ground wire to any ground point on the board...if you're using a pre-made PCB, you can run it behind and solder it on the back (copper side) where a component grounds out.

Alternately, you can connect it to the ground point on your input jack - but that's usually on the other side of the enclosure from where the DC jack goes...not great to have long runs.  I'd go to the board....

Thanks , all jacks , including the dc jack are front mounted on the enclosure , like JD mounts them , so I could run ground to the input jack easily , run the wire to the Sleeve lug or the Ring of the input jack , unsure ? then run the positive side of the dc jack to the 9V+ on the board , right ?
